Everybody has their own opinion on how a web page should be setup.  I offer some of my thoughts as to things you should and should not do when setting up your web page.

 

 

My Thoughts:  Never Never Never, unless the text is a link.  When you setup a link to another page using text, the text is underlined by default.  Over the years everybody has gotten use to the idea that underlined text is a link so if you underline text to highlight it for others people think it's a link.  If they click on the underlined text and it doesn't take them anywhere they think you have a sloppy website and you have a broken link. 

 

 

My Thoughts:  This is a very common problem.  I see it all the time and it drives my crazy.  Most website tools offer easy solutions for adding some space between the picture and the text.  Normally you will find a place in the picture properties window.  Spend the extra 10 seconds it takes to add margins to the pictures.  Your website will look a lot nicer.
